A River Restored
After watching this intense documentary about Fossil Creek in Arizona I saw the hardships that environmentalists have to go through when they're trying to get a dam decommissioned. The way they went about it was really good because they had many people behind them. They weren't being forceful but telling FERC how they felt about the dam. I personally didn't know that dams were bad for the environment. I thought they were good because of the hydroelectric power that saves on the energy taken from coal. The Fossil Creek area was gorgeous after the dam was decommissioned especially when all of the fish and organisms came back to the environment.
